Already Missing Carter....

Yesterday was a sad day... My family's dog Carter had to be put to sleep. He had cancer and wasn't doing so good, so my parents decided it was time for him to be put to sleep because he just couldn't do anything and would probably feel alot better, he just looked so sick it was so sad. It is going to be so weird going up to my parents house and not have a big old dog there to welcome you. It will feel just a little bit lonely up there but he is in a better place. The good thing about it is that my Dad got to take Carter Boy up to my Gradparents ranch and bury him with my Dads old dog that he grew up with Lady. I thought that was pretty special and I think he would appreciate it alot. Just a couple memories I have about Carter is I remember the day my sister brought him home from Wal-mart when they used to always sell puppies in front when you walk in. My Dad wasn't too happy about Bree bringing him home but of course everyone fell in love with him and he pretty much became a member of our family from that day on. Carter did get in trouble alot but only because he thought he was human too and he thought he should get whatever we got especially if it was food or to be laying in a comfortable spot either on the couch or on a bed is where you would find him if you were the first one home when everyone had been gone for the day. It will be weird not having a dog beacuse we have had him for so many years and now I want a dog even more because I can't go see Carter and get my puppy fix for the day. But I will post some better pictures of Carter as soon as I can they are all at my Moms but the one at the top. He is in a much better place and he will be missed by so many of us!

Lovin' Lazy Sundays...

I am so glad it is Sunday, I definatly don't want Monday to come it just means another long week of work, work, and more work. But I was glad I had today off I finally got some things done that I have been wanting to do, like taking down all the Halloween decorations and putting some new stuff up that we bought. Jared started putting it up a while ago but it wasn't exatly straight so he has been so busy with work and school to fix it I had to take matters into my own hands and hung our decor all by myself. I fixed it and it looks great! Now I want to put a quote or something underneath in vinyl but I am not quite sure what to put so any cute ideas let me know.. its in the kitchen/diningroom which I think makes it a little harder. But that is another thing on my TO DO list. I also got most of the house cleaned, did some laundry and I also made dinner... I don't do it enough I just suck at it but today it was pretty good so I just need to keep practicing my cooking.

So some exciting news is I am registerd for Spring Semester at USU. I am excited to go back right now but I am sure I won't like it too much once it starts. I have finally decided what I want to do so it does make it a little more exciting to go to school now that I found something I want to do. This weekend was pretty relaxing I only had to work Saturday so it has been a great relaxing break, and Jared and I went on a little date to Ruby Tuesdays last night which he has been dying to go to and then just came home and watched a movie. We finally had some time to be together this weekend and it was so fun! But for now its back to the work week...

So Long October

October has come and gone so fast I had so many things I wanted to do this month, but I didn't get a whole lot done. I was so excited to start decorating and celebrating the upcoming holidays with Jared in our new house. I was planning on carving pumpkins, figuring out costumes for Jared and me, handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters and making more holiday decorations for our new home. Well I didn't get to most of these the things which I am sad about but the things I got around to were; I made a Halloween decoration for our home (which I stole the cute idea from my sister Kami!) And maybe handed out candy to like 7 trick-or-treaters which is weird because our house is in a pretty busy area and I can always here kids playing outside and now I have all this candy that I am going to eat now which isn't good even though I love candy. So my October festivities didn't go as planned especially sence Jared had to work overnight at Wal-mart on Halloween so we just went and saw our nieces and nephew and just hung out until he had to go to work. I was bad again and didn't get any pictures of anyone on Halloween but I'll take a picture of my decoration and try and be better about taking pictures. Hopefully I can get alot more things done this month then last. I can't figure out how to move this picture to the bottom but that is the decoration I made for Halloween.
